California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA)
The California Housing Finance Agency, also known as CalHFA, is a state housing finance agency for California. This agency delivers a variety of homebuyer assistance programs throughout the state.
As a State Housing Finance Agency (HFA), CalHFA, offers first-time homebuyers:

- Downpayment Assistance Programs
- A network of mortgage lenders

CalHFA partners with private sector mortgage lenders who qualify borrowers and offer the program to eligible first-time homebuyers in the state.
